Slim Line SAS 4.0 SFF-8654 to SFF-8087 Cable
Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) is a high-speed data storage interface for high throughput and fast data access. Primarily for data storage: the SAS interface is backward compatible with SATA.
This allows users to combine several more expensive low-capacity SAS hard drives with cheaper, high-capacity SATA drives for lower-speed applications and for applications that require faster data access and higher reliability.
Positive and passive locking ensures that the plug stays connected to the socket.
All internal Mini-SAS assemblies can support Generation I and II SAS / SATA bandwidths.
