This DP to HDMI cable is a Passive cable, not Active. NON Bidirectional. This Displayport to HDMI Cable works ONLY support display video and audio from Displayport equipped laptop/ desktop to HDMI monitor/ projector, NOT HDMI to Displayport. Supported resolutions and refresh rates depend on the specifications of the Displayport host devices and connected displays. For example, if your DP host device supports 8K at 30Hz, while the connected display only supports 4K at 60Hz, you can output 4K at 60Hz rather than 8K at 30Hz.
